01 — Our Story
A Western-style bowl, born in Hikawa.
〜 Western Sensibility × Saga Heritage 〜
"Glace" is French for "ice" — and "ice cream."
"Hikawa" is the name of a place in Tokyo.
In this small corner where two languages
echo each other, we opened a tiny shop devoted
to one thing: the perfect kakigōri.
—
Our owner is from Nabeshima, in Saga Prefecture, Kyushu.
Childhood memories of his grandfather's beloved
Old Imari porcelain inspired the bowls
we serve in today.
Together with Ureshino tea from his hometown,
we bring Saga's heritage to a bowl in Tokyo.
—
Our espuma cream is light as snow.
Five year-round classics, plus two monthly specials —
24 unique flavors across the year,
in rhythm with the seasons.
—
Come for the last bite of your day.
— Glace Hikawa
